Sowing the First Seed

The seed was sown in May 17, 2002 in Akure Nigeria with the move of God to start CAC Chapel of Praise with God's Servant, Pastor Professor Samuel Babatope Adejuyigbe with his family. The ministry grew in God's favour and over 2 decade has now expanded to the United Kingdom

Taking the Mandate

With a divine instruction, CACCOP Sheffield began as a fellowship online 20 years later in May 2022 and has expanded with it's first pyhsical service on the 22nd October 2023 with both Samuel and IfeOluwa setting out to run with the mandate their father began in a different nation. These men were their at the beginning and with God's strength, God is set to do a wonderful thing through them. VISION

To develop a virile church, full of love for each other, through a team work approach with open door administrative policy. Allowing God to lead, and all of us following his directives.

MISSION

  • To gather the saint of God together unto Him, those who are heaven bounded and have made a covenant with him by sacrifice.Psalm 50:5.
  • To drink freely out of the well of salvation unto the kingdom of the righteous God, that is, to make heaven and reign with Him.
  • To develop and have enough large innocent and virgin heart to do the work of him that sent us.

TENET OF CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH

  1. The Unity of the Godhead and the trinity of the person therein.
  2. The utter depravity of humour nature, the necessity for repentance and regeneration, and the eternal doom of the final impenitent.
  3. The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and abiding intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ. His second coming and millennial reign on earth.
  4. The baptism of the holy spirit for believers with signs following.
  5. The nine gifts of Holy Ghost for edification, exhortation and comfort of the church, which is the body of Christ.
  6. The sacraments of baptism by immersion, and of the Lord's Supper.
  7. Divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Spirit.
  8. Church government: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers, Elders, and Deacons
  9. The obligatory nature of tithe and offering.
  10. Divine healing through the obedience to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith in His name and merit of His blood for all sickness, disease and infirmities. Isaiah 53:5, Mark 16:18, James 5:14,18.
  11. Faith in God, "Jehovah Jireh" to supply all your financial needs without going into debts or borrowing money on interest. To be content with having food and raiment. "Godliness with contentment is a great gain and the love of money is the root of all evil". Romans 13:8, 1Tim 6:6-10, Psalm15:5.
  12. The possibility of falling from grace.
